Celebration's
3rd Annual Conference Luncheon a Hugh Success
In three short years the word is out and interest for Celebration
is growing as evidence from the 60 attendees at our 3rd Annual Conference
Lunch. It was a fun and exciting day as we welcomed ladies
(and 2 men!!) from 32 churches around our Conference. It was
wonderful to see representatives from 7 of our 21 chapters, but
most were first-time visitors desiring to learn more about this
exciting woman-to-woman ministry called Celebration. The powerful
praise and worship time lead by Beth Domingue brought us immediately
into the presence of Jesus as we begin to experience what Celebration
is all about and hear the vision and purpose as explained by our
Conference President, Judy Graham. Inspirational testimonies
about what God is doing in chapters around the Conference were given
by chapter President Cindy Masterson from Westminster UMC, our newest
chapter President, Tammy Gilts from First Pasadena, and President
Molly Steinger from Sugar Land First UMC. God continues to
bless us indeed as He expands our territory. We are already
praying to double our numbers for next year's luncheon!
Welcome
First Pasadena as Celebration's 21st Chapter
First Pasadena's Chapter President, Tammy Gilts along with 9 other
mighty women of God were chartered and commissioned for their Board
positions, at their Leadership Training, Saturday, May 25th.
This is an enthusiastic and energetic group who love the Lord and
are eager to spring into action reaching women in their community
for Jesus. Congratulations First Pasadena.
